Sara has led sustainability initiatives throughout her professional and volunteer roles.

In her role at Head of Operations and Senior Sustainability Consultant with sustainability-led built environment group, HIP V. HYPE, Sara led project management and stakeholder engagement to develop the Sustainable Subdivision Framework. The Framework embeds sustainability into the development of new communities to increase liveability, energy efficiency and biodiversity, reduce urban heat island effect and support integrated water management and a circular economy.

Sara also served as Treasurer of the Geelong Sustainability committee for the past three years, in which time she supported the significant growth of the organisation.
