Sustainability Summit

Keynote – Lessons of Resilience – Climatic, Social, and Cultural Learnings from Country and First Nations

Drawing on her experience working with more than 40 Indigenous communities across Australia and throughout the Pacific, Ka Wai Yeung, co-founder of Kaunitz Yeung Architecture, will share powerful insights on resilience as understood through Country and First Nations perspectives.

This keynote will explore how cultural knowledge and community-led design can guide us in responding to climatic, social, and cultural challenges with strength and continuity. With a practice recognised internationally for its social impact, Ka Wai will highlight the importance of co-design, heritage, and cultural stewardship in shaping a more equitable and sustainable built environment.
