Winsor Kerr

Winsor Kerr understands that Architecture is a reflection of culture over time, and that materials teach us about a place’s history. Unfortunately, the prevailing built architecture in Australia is often self-referential of colonialism.

Winsor Kerr was established to explore the intersection of Country-centred design and sustainable building practices to advocate for a conscientious and compassionate future.

They have a responsibility within practice, and within the built environment, to acknowledge and work with Country and community – a position we believe is necessary for all architects and spatial designers. They understand that the difference in peoples perspectives, observations and approaches are what make them valuable, and central to this is Deep listening.
