Green Sheep Collective

Green Sheep Collective is a Melbourne-based architectural practice dedicated to making sustainable design practical, accessible and achievable for everyday Australians.

Founded by architect Shae Parker McCashen, the practice was established on the belief that environmental responsibility should not be reserved for premium projects or specialist clients. Instead, sustainability should be embedded into every design decision, from the earliest briefing conversations through to construction and long-term building performance.

Their work spans residential, commercial, community and emerging affordable housing projects, with a strong focus on adaptive reuse, passive solar design, electrification, climate resilience and reducing unnecessary construction. They believe the most sustainable square metre is often the one that is never built, and our projects frequently challenge conventional assumptions around floor area, consumption and development outcomes.
