Arianna Brambilla

Arianna Brambilla is a lecturer and Associate Dean (SL) at the School of Architecture, Design and Planning, The University of Sydney. She is a dedicated educator and researcher, with demonstrated international achievements in sustainability and innovation in the built environment. Arianna is involved in several industry-led research projects, and her applied approach the nexus between cutting-edge innovation and best construction and design practices. She champions an informed design approach that promotes more sustainable outcomes, based on a holistic vision that encompasses human wellbeing, nature and the built environment. Her research is expanding the concept of sustainability to include health and social justice, with powerful cultural and social implications.

Arianna is also a passionate educator, recognized as an emerging leader in sustainable design. Through an innovative teaching agenda infused with cutting-edge research and industry-led activities, she is shaping the next generation of architects. She advocates for a sustainable, just and equal future, contributing to the public debates about sustainability through national and international forums, panel discussions and publications.
