Tessa Knox-Grant

Tessa Knox-Grant is a Principal and Australasian Sustainable Transport Lead at Arup. Tessa is a transport planning leader with over 20 years of experience in NSW, Queensland, and internationally. Her focus on strategy development, integrated transport and land use planning, and multi-modal integrated projects includes planning for all transport users in complex environments. Tessa has worked in multiple jurisdictions in private and public sector roles, including most recently as Executive Director at Transport for NSW. She has a Masters in City and Regional Planning, is accredited with the American Institute of Certified Planners, and is on the Board of Directors of the Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management (AITPM). Tessa is a strong advocate for delivering environmentally and socially sustainable outcomes through integrated planning and design of our transport networks and built environment.
