Taryn Cornell

Taryn Cornell is the Senior Manager for Strategy & Development at the GBCA and oversees the team that develops Green Star, an internationally recognized rating system setting the standard in Australia for healthy, resilient, positive buildings and places. Green Star has certified thousands of sustainable fit-outs, buildings, homes, and communities across the country. For the development of these rating tools, Taryn and her team run a multi-stakeholder engagement and governance process that spans multiple years and involves hundreds of individuals. Taryn also has significant experience in delivering sustainability strategies and technical documents, such as practical guides to electrification and modeling guides for energy and upfront carbon.
