Ramona Meyricke

An actuary for over 15 years, Ramona uses data, analytics and actuarial modelling to improve government, health and disability systems and services, helping make these systems and the communities they serve more sustainable and resilient.

She has extensive expertise in economic and financial modelling and the measurement and management of risk and uncertainty across a range of applications in government and insurance. Her recent work has focussed on risk-based evaluation of climate and disaster risk, climate change adaptation and climate-related risk management.

Ramona is an associate investigator at the ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research and co-chair of the Actuaries Institute’s Climate Risk Working Group. She regularly presents and writes about the implications of changing population demographics and climate change, and how government and businesses can manage these risks.
