Harriet Oswald

Harriet Oswald is an architect and Associate Principal at Grimshaw with more than 15 years’ international experience leading complex, public-facing projects across tourism, tertiary education, civic and commercial sectors. Since joining Grimshaw’s Melbourne studio in 2019, she has contributed to major projects shaped by sustainability, landscape and community experience. Her work brings together design quality, environmental performance, cultural context, stakeholder alignment and enduring public value. Harriet is particularly interested in regenerative design, meaningful engagement with Country, and architecture’s capacity to connect people with place. She advocates for integrated, purposeful design that responds intelligently to its environmental and social context.
