David Tickle

As a Principal and Urban Design Sector Leader in Hassell’s Sydney Studio, David’s world revolves around cities and what makes them tick – the way people live and move in them and the quality of their buildings and public spaces. For him, great urban design has inclusion and resilience at its heart.

David’s experience spans many large-scale urban design and master planning projects across Asia, Australia and the US, with recent projects in Sydney including the Pyrmont Peninsula Place Strategy, Aerotropolis precinct planning, and master plans for Edmondson Park, Telopea and the Summer Hill Flour Mill.

David is a NSW state design review panellist and a trusted advisor to state and local government on transport-focused urban regeneration strategies.
