Cyril Giraud

Cyril is Head of Sustainability for Holcim Oceania. Cyril has over 20 years’ experience supporting the construction materials industry and has most recently been shaping Holcim’s sustainability strategy across decarbonisation, circular economy and nature.  Holcim was the first construction materials company globally to commit to Net Zero by 2050. Within Australia, Holcim was the first company to disclose product carbon information via  Environmental Product Declarations and to achieve Climate Active Certification. This was recognised at Architecture and Design’s Sustainability Awards in 2021, with Holcim’s ECOPact concrete winning the ‘best green building material’ and the ‘best of the best’.
