Designing the sustainable and practical Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport

As Sydney’s new airport, Western Sydney International (WSI) is focussed on sustainability and minimising the impact of the airport on the environment. Sustainable design, energy efficiency and circular economy principles are key considerations. So how did this culture of sustainability become embedded in the project since the beginning, and how has it enabled a balanced and innovative approach to delivering this iconic project?
