Entries for the 2026 Sustainability Awards have been extended until midnight, 9 July. Celebrating 20 years of recognising leadership in sustainable architecture and design, the program honours the projects, products and people helping shape a more sustainable built environment.
If you’ve been meaning to enter the 2026 Sustainability Awards, there’s still time. Entries have been extended until midnight on 9 July, offering one final opportunity to be part of the program’s milestone 20th anniversary year.
For two decades, the Sustainability Awards have celebrated the projects, products and people demonstrating leadership in sustainable architecture and design. Since 2007, the program has recognised innovation across the built environment, showcasing work that is delivering meaningful environmental, social and economic outcomes.
A category for every area of the built environment
The 2026 program features 18 categories spanning architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, product innovation and professional practice. Categories include residential, commercial, institutional and public buildings, adaptive reuse, prefab and modular design, community and social impact, hospitality and tourism, international design, and green building materials and products. The awards also recognise emerging talent, sustainable architectural practice and, new for 2026, Sustainable Builder/Developer of the Year.
Judged by industry leaders
Projects completed between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2026 are eligible for entry. Winners will be selected by an independent jury of leading industry experts, with the prestigious Best of the Best winner chosen from the category winners announced at the Sustainability Awards Gala on 12 November 2026.
