Sophie is a recent Master of Architecture graduate. She is currently contributing to the design of a cross-laminated timber (CLT) school library and has previously worked on AusAID and NZAID projects across the South Pacific, where mechanical ventilation was often a luxury and sea-level rise was a pressing challenge.

Beyond practice, much of her work focuses on strengthening the dialogue between architects and engineers, with an emphasis on integrated, performance-driven design.

Alongside practice and research, Sophie is a member of the Climate Action and Sustainability Committee (CASC) Queensland, where she an editor for the Green Digest, a fortnightly publication in the Queensland chapter newsletter highlighting sustainable architecture projects from across Australia. Sophie is committed to bringing research, practice and advocacy together in support of more resilient and water-sensitive cities.
