Matt Findlay

Matt is an experienced design professional with over 25 years’ experience in a broad range of sectors with a focus in aviation & transport. Over this time, Matt has developed solutions for complex airport environments and the importance of a collaborative multi-partisan design process culminating in a balance of efficiency, retail integration and human-centric spatial allocation throughout all front and back of house environments.

Matt is skilled in terminal design and planning with an emphasis on creating efficient functional airport environments with a primary focus on passenger experience, amenity and sustainability. 

For over 25 years, Matt has developed solutions for complex airport environments and the importance of a collaborative multi-partisan design process culminating in a balance of efficiency, retail integration and human-centric spatial allocation throughout all front and back of house environments. 

A belief that a positive passenger journey experience is attributed to managing a homogeneous design synergy between all functions, spatial elements and activities forms a strong basis for Matt’s empathetic and inclusive design approach. 

Matt was also part of the COX design team on the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport concept design with particular focus on the passenger experience.
