Julian Sutherland

Julian is the Head of the Sustainable Assets team across the JLL APAC region with the  Sustainability Consulting team.  This team covers all aspects of sustainable buildings, including performance, rating systems, optimisation, repositioning, decarbonisation and Net Zero Pathways.

Julian has 37 years’ experience in the specification, design and delivery of sustainable, low-carbon buildings. He is experienced in all aspects of design, certification and operation of the building lifecycle.

His experience includes all sectors and building types from commercial, higher education, residential and non-residential assets, investors, corporate and retail occupiers, data centres, logistics and heritage buildings. Julian has a BEng from Auckland University, is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of CIBSE and a qualified Passivhaus Designer.
