Jo Taranto

Jo Taranto is an environmental strategist helping leaders embrace climate courage and transform industries. Shaped by her upbringing on a drought-affected NSW farm, she brings experience from health, safety, and community systems, including over a decade in corporate safety and risk management. In 2018, she co-founded Good for the Hood to build connected, sustainable communities, earning national recognition. As co-host of Channel 10’s Planet Shapers and working with over 200+ organisations, she guides leaders to integrate environmental strategy as a competitive advantage, shifting them from extraction to restoration and “business as usual” to industry transformation.
