Professor Geoff Hanmer

Professor Geoff Hanmer

Professor Geoff Hanmer is the Managing Director of ARINA, a consultancy specialising in educational facilities and particularly the higher education sector. He is also an academic, teaching construction at UTS, where he is a Professional Fellow and at the University of Adelaide where he is an Adjunct Professor.

Geoff holds a Master of Science in Architecture (by research) from the Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning in London and a First-class Honours Degree in Architecture (five year course) from the University of Adelaide.

He is currently carrying out research on a variety of topics, including ventilation and building regulations, and is an investigator in the ARC Training Centre for Advanced Building Systems Against Airborne Infection Transmission.

Geoff articles have appeared in ‘The Conversation’, ‘The Australian’ the AFR, the Canberra Times and the architectural press.

Geoff now concentrates on providing strategic advice and master planning services to HE clients across the Asia-Pacific area.
