Since graduating in 1977, Dr Peter Tonkin has completed a wide range of highly successful projects nationally and internationally. Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects, formed in 1987, has a leading reputation for design, environmental and constructional excellence, reflected in the practice’s 150 industry, national and international design awards. Major projects include the Australian War Memorial in London, the 270Ha National Arboretum in Canberra, the Walsh Bat Arts Precinct and major upgrades to the Art Gallery of NSW.
Peter has served on a wide range of public committees and boards, and is a past Bard member of the Museums of History NSW.
