Chris Serrano is a Principal Environmental Consultant with over a decade of experience in environmental impact assessment and planning approvals for major infrastructure projects. Chris specialises in integrating sustainability principles into complex developments, leveraging digital tools and innovative approaches to reduce environmental risk and enhance project outcomes. Chris has contributed thought leadership through publications and presentations on next-generation impact assessment, natural capital, and digital EIA platforms. Most recently, Chris explored the intersection of artificial intelligence and sustainability at the International Association of Impact Assessment Conference in Bologna, highlighting the environmental impacts of AI and how it can drive environmental performance and climate-responsive design in Data Centres.
