Aidan Mullan

Aidan is responsible for engineering, Lean and sustainability programs to eliminate waste and reduce carbon emissions as part of Interface’s Mission Zero and Climate Take Back initiatives. Using Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) tools, he evaluates raw material and manufacturing environmental impacts to assist the company in transitioning to more sustainable processes and products and achieving its Mission Zero goal. Responsible for Interface’s carpet take back program. He has designed and installed Australia’s first carpet recycling process at the Interface factory in Sydney. A Chemical Engineer out of The Queens University of Belfast, he has a proven track record in delivering a wide range of projects over his career in the Chemical, Process and Pharmaceutical industries ranging from materials handling, solvent recovery, dematerialization, energy reduction and water treatment. He has held positions in Research and Development, Production and Operations Management.
