Aidan Mullan is the Sustainability Manager for Interface ANZ. Over his career, he has held positions in Production, Operations Management and Research and Development, driving and delivering innovative projects in the Chemical, Process and Phytomedicine industries.
Given the challenges of the Climate Emergency, he believes he has the best job at Interface, as a large part of his role is “walking the talk” to help reverse global warming. He drives sustainability programs to eliminate waste and reduce embodied carbon as part of Interface’s Climate Take Back plan and to become a carbon negative company by 2040.
Designing, installing and commissioning Australia’s first real carpet recycling process, located in Sydney, has been one of his most satisfying achievements at Interface. He is currently working with key stakeholders in the government and industry to make access to renewable gas a reality for manufacturing in Australia.
