Dr Kaitlin Shilling

Kaitlin brings extensive experience in translating complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies that deliver meaningful outcomes. With a background spanning resilience design, strategic management, climate change adaptation, social entrepreneurship and impact design, she approaches every project through a systems-thinking lens. Her work has taken her across Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa and the Caribbean on initiatives funded by USAID, the World Bank, the United Nations, private foundations and global corporates—helping diverse stakeholders achieve sustainable, long-term results.

As Arup’s Regional Resilience and Adaptation Lead and Regional Skill Leader for the Resilience Network in Australasia, Kaitlin is responsible for developing and maintaining best-in-class practice across the region. She takes an innovative, outcome-focused approach to every challenge, fostering collaboration and resilience to help clients and communities adapt, thrive and create enduring positive impact.
