According to the 2018 Sustainability Awards Emerging Architect of the Year Jean Graham, entering this years’ Sustainability Awards should be all about “celebrating works that are complete or underway and be recognised on an international platform.”
As a 2020 Sustainability Awards ambassador, on what she is hoping to see across this year’s entries, Graham says, “Entries that are beautiful, sophisticated design responses with the underlying sustainable approach.”
In terms of what does she hopes to see more of in terms of sustainable design, Graham is unequivocal in her response: “Beauty without compromise.”
“Sustainable architecture does not have to be unattractive,” she notes.
