Recycled Formwork

Resourceful Living

Resourceful Living’s Recycled Formwork is a game-changing solution for the Australian construction industry, transforming 100% post-industrial plastic waste into high-performance, sustainable building panels. While traditional formwork often relies on timber or plywood that has a limited lifespan and frequently ends up in landfill, our panels are engineered for extreme durability and infinite recyclability.

Each panel is manufactured at our NSW facility using 100% Australian plastic waste, with no added glues, resins, or veneers. This ensures the product remains entirely pure and recyclable. Our standard 2400mm x 1200mm panels come in thicknesses ranging from 3mm to 40mm, providing a robust, solid-block alternative that stands up to the toughest site conditions. Because the material is moisture-proof, it won’t rot, swell, or delaminate, ensuring a consistent, high-quality finish for concrete pours over significantly more reuses than traditional materials.

What truly sets our entry apart is our commitment to a total circular economy. We manage the end-to-end cycle, we source the plastic locally, manufacture the panels ourselves (producing up to 1 tonne of material per day), and offer a take-back program. At the end of a project’s life or when a panel is finally retired, we collect it and remanufacture it back into new sheets or furniture.

By replacing virgin timber with 100% recycled Australian plastic, we are not only helping construction firms meet their sustainability and carbon reduction targets but also directly preventing plastic from entering our oceans and landfill. Our Recycled Formwork proves that high-performance building materials can be locally made, commercially viable, and 100% environmentally responsible.
