Charles Sturt University School of Engineering

A holistically sustainable ‘character’. In the words of the founding Professor Euan Lindsay, this engineering school aims to ‘zig’ not ‘zag’.

A new paradigm; a unique School of Engineering with a bespoke curriculum and differentiating engineering experience. Not just a building, but a distinctive ‘character’ where creativity is embraced, relationships are fostered and diversity, collaboration, home, agility and flexibility are all intrinsic qualities of this holistically sustainable learning environment. This is a re-lifing project that is contextually and sustainably aligned.

A new curriculum, created in parallel with this transformation in 503 days, makes this project locally and nationally significant. Eighteen months of study are followed by four years of field study with employers intrinsically connected with this sustainable journey.
